Services for individuals with Autism

  • Service Coordination assists with eligibility and with the development of individual plans for needed services.

  • Early Intervention serves children ages birth to 3 years who appear to have developmental disabilities.

  • Family Supports provides a variety of services to families who care for disabled individuals.

  • Day programs provide training for employment and in daily living skills for individuals who attend during the day.

  • Job Coach is designed to place and support individuals in competitive employment.

  • Residential services are for those individuals determined to be in critical circumstances.

  • Medicaid Waiver provides funding for some autism services.  For information on eligibility and services visit the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs website.
